Sri Kalyanapasupatheeswarar Temple is located at
Karur. The idol of the temple is a swayambu moorthy (self-created image). The holy cow,
Kamadhenu is also worshipped in this temple. The main festival of the temple is the Bramotsavam celebrated in the month of
Panguni. Another festival of importance is the Arudra Darishanam.
