Sri Jayaveera Abhayahastha Anjaneya Temple is located at
Krishnapuram, near
Kadayanallur, in
Tirunelveli District,
Tamil Nadu. The temple, situated in the middle of lush green paddy fields, is a famous pilgrim center dating back to the
Ramayana period. This temple of yore enshrines
Lord Hanuman as the presiding deity. The temple also has idols of
Lord Ram,
Sita and
Lakshman. The 6 ft high south-facing deity of the temple attracts large number of devotees from all parts of state.
