Established in 1986, Sri Jagatguru Chandrashekharnatha Swamiji Institute of Technology (SJCIT) is a premier institution for technical education. It is affiliated to
Visveswaraiah Technological University as well as the Bangalore University. The institution conducts courses for Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Computer Application and Master of Business Administration.
Extra training classes are held by appointing reputed training institutes at the college premises. The Institute has a main building, housing facilities for six branches of engineering at the UG level and two branches at the PG level, mechanical engineering block, the consumers co-operative society and a canteen at the campus. The college also has a library, reading room and seminar hall. Hostel facilities are available for the both boys and girls.
