Sri Gurulaya is a prominent dance school situated at
Nungambakkam in
Chennai,
Tamil Nadu. The school was founded in 1977 by Tanjavur Rajalakshmi, a famous dancer, with a vision to keep the cultural richness of the dance forms and spread these into different parts of the world.
The school conducts classes in carnatic music and bharatanatyam. They also organize regular dance and music performances all over south India and abroad.
