Sri Chowdeshwari Devi Temple is located at Nandavaram village in
Kurnool District of
Andhra Pradesh. The presiding deity is Goddess Chowdeshwari Devi. This beautiful shrine has a large
gopuram, which is visible for miles around.
Devi Navaratrulu and Chowdeshwari Jatra are the two important festivals celebrated at this temple. Chowdeshwari Jatra is celebrated in honor of the goddess during March-April. Devi Navaratrulu is a nine-day festival held on the occasion of Navratri.
Nandavaram is situated at a distance of 8 km from Panem, which has a railway station.
