Sree Krishna Swamy Temple is a highly revered shrine situated in
Thodupuzha, the gateway of
Idukki District. The main deity worshipped is
Lord Krishna. It was built by a Hindu saint, who had the sight of Krishna at this place. An annual festival, which is peculiar to this temple is Chothiyoott (Chothi feast) in which the food is supplied for the worshippers.
Thodupuzha is around 40 km from Kottayam, which holds the nearest railhead - Kottayam Railway Station.
