Sree Mookkumpuzha Devi Temple

Sree Mookkumpuzha Devi Temple, one of the famous Bhagavathi shrines in Kerala, is located at Karunagappally in Kollam District. Goddess Kali is the presiding deity here. Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Durga, Lord Krishna, Lord Ganesh, Hanuman, Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Ram are also worshiped.

The main offerings are thrimadhuram, aravana payasam, ganapathy homa, devi pooja, chuttuvilakku, niramala and mrityunjaya homa. An annual festival held amid much pomp and splendor attracts thousands of devotees.

Karunagappally is around 27 km north of Kollam on the National Highway 47. Karunagappally Railway Station provides easy access for the devotees to the temple.
