Sree Mahadeva Temple is an ancient shrine located at Kazhakuttam, 15 km north of Thiruvananthapuram. It is one of the most ancient Shiva temples of Kerala. The temple enshrines a beautiful image of Lord Shiva. The temple is believed to have been built in the 14th century.

Kazhakuttam Railway Station, the nearest railhead, lies on the Ernakulam-Thiruvananthapuram line.
