Sree Maha Ganapathi Temple




Sree Maha Ganapathi Temple is situated in the heart of Sulthan Bathery in Wayanad District. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Ganesh.

The temple is famous for its eight-day long annual festival. This grand festival features a host of cultural programs such as Chakyarkoothu and Ottanthullal. Kalamezhuthu Pattu is performed during the third and the fourth days. On the concluding day, the image of the deity (thidampu) is taken out in a big procession led by caparisoned elephants.

Sulthan Bathery Bus Station, on the National Highway 212, provides easy access for the devotees to the temple.
