Sree Krishna Swamy Temple




Sree Krishna Swamy Temple is a historically important temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is situated at Neyyattinkara, 20 km south of Thiruvananthapuram.

Prime attraction of the temple is Ammachi Plavu (an old jackfruit tree); legendarily connected with the period of Marthanda Varma (1729 -1758). The temple has a traditional South Indian gopuram (gateway), which is decorated with artistic sculptures.

Bus Station and Railway Station provide easy access to the temple. Trivandrum International Airport is 24 km away.
