Sree Jagadambika Temple




Sree Jagadambika Temple is a highly revered shrine situated atop the Golconda Fort in Golconda, about 11 km from Hyderabad. Goddess Kali is worshipped here in the form of Sree Jagadambika. This temple is famous for the celebration of Bonalu Festival which is celebrated in the month of July. During the festival, thousands of devotees from far and near reach the temple for the celebration. Apart from the common devotees, the Muslim emperors celebrate the festival with great fervor. Golconda Mines and Premamathi Nritya Mandir are the nearby attractions. Hyderabad Deccan Railway Station (11 km) and Hyderabad Airport are the major access points nearby.
