Sree Dharmasastha Temple




Sree Dharmasastha Temple is situated near Attukal Bhagavathy Temple, on the banks of Killi River, in Thiruvananthapuram. This famous temple enshrines Lord Ayyappa (also called Sastha) as the main deity.

The presiding deities are Lord Ganesh, Goddess Kali, Goddess Yakshi Amma and Lord Nagaraja. Neeranjanam, Ganapati homa, pushpanjali and ayilya pooja are the main offerings. Mandala Puja and Makar Sankranti are the major festivals celebrated at the temple.

Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station and Thiruvananthapuram Central Bus Station are the nearest railhead and bus station. Trivandrum International Airport is 7 km away.
