Sree Balaji Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology is located near Rajagopuram at
Srirangam,
Tiruchirapalli. The institute is affiliated to the A.I.C.T.E., Govt. of India and to the D.T.E., Govt. of Tamil Nadu. It was started in 1993 and is having a total intake of 60 students. The courses offered by the institute are three year Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (offered by the American Hotel and Motel Association, U.S.A.), and one year certificate courses in Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Bakery and Confectionery and Accommodation Operation. There are hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Placements are provided through campus interviews.
