Sradha Oottu is an event celebrated every year at the Palayur Pilgrim Center. This is celebrated as a remembrance of the death of St Thomas, an apostle of Jesus Christ. This is a big event, and a large number of people take part in this event every year. Each one of them is served free food on that particular day.
