Tamil Nadu. It is similar to bow and arrow usage. The spear is thrown at a target and those who hit perfectly at that target are considered winners. Spear throwing needs a lot of practice and dexterity. In the ancient period, kings and leaders riding elephants or horses used to attack enemies with spears. Now it is practiced as a competitive game.
