Spangmik

Spangmik, the farthest point to which foreigners are permitted, is only 7 km along the southern shore from the head of the Pangong Tso lake in Leh District, Jammu and Kashmir. From there one can have spectacular views of the mountains of the Chang Chenmo Range. Above Spangmik rise the glaciers and snow covered peaks of the Pangong Range.
