South West Delhi District




The South West Delhi District is surrounded by West Delhi in the north, South Delhi in the east and Jhajjar and Gurgaon districts of the state of Haryana in the west and south respectively. South West Delhi, covering an area of 420 sq km, has a population of around 1.8 million. It has a distinguished historical background. South West Delhi houses both the airports in Delhi - The Indira Gandhi International Airport as well as the domestic Palam Airport. The biggest colony in Asia at Dwarka is in South West Delhi District. The Fun 'N' Food Village amusement park has the latest state of the art joyrides, fun slides coupled with water parks for water games, wave pools, float showers and snow games, which provide a perfect setting for recreational facilities in an eco-friendly atmosphere.
