A renowned
Assamese writer, Sourabh Kumar Chaliha (b. 1930) is the author of a number of unique works including Ashanta Electron, Duparia, and Ehat Daba. His collection of short stories 'Golam' won him the Sahitya Academy Award. Chaliha has enormous knowledge in Physics, Marxism, and world literature, which helped him furnishing literary talent.
