Sorak is a coconut curry sauce made by Goans during the monsoon season. This dish consists of grated coconut, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, garlic, turmeric powder, dried chillies or peppers, onion, green chillies or peppers (deseeded) and tamarind pulp. This dish, garnished with eggs, goes well with rice and a variety of pickles.
