Sonari

Sonari town is located about 3 km north of Jamshedpur in East Singhbhum District, Jharkhand. Chandil is situated about 20 km north-west, Gamharia is 7 km west and Bhetia is 3 km south.

Tribal Culture Centre, Jamshedpur Co-operative Flying Club and Indian Institute of Aeronautical Science are the major landmarks of the place.

Places of tourist interest include Jubilee Park, Tata Zoological Park, Jayanti Sarowar, Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary and TELCO Bhuwaneswari Temple.
