Somolo and Dumkudi Islands

Somolo and Dumkudi Islands are the inundated remnants of the Eastern Ghats, located on the central and southern sectors of the Chillika lagoon. These rocky isles are home to a rich variety of flora and fauna. Dolphins are often sighted on the peripheral waters of Somolo Island. Hundreds of tourists visit this place every year.

The islands are about 50 km from Puri.
