Solan Fair

Solan Fair is celebrated on the second Sunday of June in Solan, which is 52 km from Shimla in Himachal Pradesh.

This festival is celebrated in honour of the Goddess Shilooni, who is the presiding deity of the region, and from whom the town got its name Solan. A number of trek programs are held at Dalhousie, Kangra, Kullu, Rohru and Narkanda in connection with this fair.
