The Society for the Aid of Handicapped Children based in
Coimbatore helps the disabled children in their physical and psychological adjustment to society. Highly qualified orthopedic surgeons and physiotherapists extend valuable service at the physiotherapy center. Consultation and treatment are free for the handicapped. Corrective surgeries are done here free of cost. The society has a speech therapy unit, orthotic workshop, medical center, school for the physically handicapped and mentally retarded and a vocational training unit.
