Sobala, sometimes spelt Sobla, is a picturesque hamlet in
Pithoragarh District,
Uttaranchal. It lies very close to
Tijam and is easily accessible from
Dharchula.
Some of the nearby cities and villages are Sumdum, Sela, Nagling, Baling, Galagad and Khela. An important tributary of the River Ganges, the Dhauliganga, flows close to this village. The trekking route leading to Darma Pass via Baling, begins from Sobala.
Tanakpur Railway Station and Pant Nagar Airport are the nearest points of access.
