Skumpata

Lying on the Lamayuru - Spadum trekking route, Skumpata is a picturesque place in Kargil District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 9 km from Lingshet.

A descent from Photosar through the famous Singge La Pass (5,000 m) leads to Skumpata. The place is also a beautiful camping site for night halts.

Skumpata can be easily accessed from Pidmu and Hanupatta.
