Ski Slopes in Himachal Pradesh




Skiing on snow can be a unique experience and there is a lot the snow clad slopes of the Himachal Mountains has in store for the skiing enthusiasts. Babog, Patsieo, Keylong, and Udaipur have some of the exciting skiing slopes in the state. Expert skiers can even have a thrilling journey from Keylong to Manali. Main ski slopes in the state are -

a) Sumnam Ski Slope: It is one of the largest in the country, located 8 km from Keylong. It is 6.5 km long and has a width ranging from 2 to 4 km. Accommodation facilities are available nearby.

b) Kardang Ski Slope: It is situated 4 km from Keylong. Accommodations are available at a mountain hut and 25 local houses that accommodate visitors.

c) Gondhala Ski Slope: It is one of the biggest in the state. Location - 15 km from Keylong.

d) Triloknath Ski Slope: With the gentle slopes, it is suitable for beginners. Snow conditions will be ideal in March and April. Accommodations are available nearby. The place is just 16 km from Udaipur.
