| Tamil NaduSivakkozhuntheeswarar Temple
Sivakkozhuntheeswarar Temple is located at Teertanagiri near Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. There is a separate shrine for Goddess Oppilaa Nayaki. The Sthala Vriksham (sacred tree) is Konrai and the teertham is Jambava Thadakam. Jambavan is said to have worshipped Shiva at this place. Sage Sundarar has glorified this temple through his pathigams. The main festival is the Brahmotsavam in the month of Vaikasi (May-June).
