Sitla Estate is located at a height of 7000 ft in the Kumaon region of the Himalayas. Spread over 39 acres consisting of dense oak and pine trees, it has a British stone bungalow of over hundred years old. Suites and double rooms are available. Though the rooms have a rustic look, they are well-appointed with modern amenities. Indian, Chinese, and continental dishes along with home made jams and juices are served.
Himalayan treks, rafting expeditions, and trips to Corbett National Park are organized. There are several indoor games available for kids. The majestic views of peaks such as Nanda Devi and Trishul Peak can be enjoyed.
September to June is the ideal time to visit. Kathgodam Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
