Sitapur Muafi is a nondescript town in the western portion of
Chitrakut District, close to
Banda District border. It is just 4 km from Karvi.
The holy town of Chitrakut, sprawled along the banks of the Mandakini River, is one of the famous tourist as well as religious destinations in the state, which can be accessed by road from here. Chitrakut Ramlila is an important festival celebrated in the district.
Sitapur Muafi is on the National Highway 76. Chitrakutdham Karvi Railway Station and Civil Airport Khajuraho are the nearest access points.
