Sita Lava Kusha Temple




Sita Lava Kusha Temple is located near Sulthan Bathery in Wayanad District of Kerala. This is the only temple dedicated to Lava and Kusha, the sons of Lord Ram.

This place is enriched with legends from the Ramayana. The temple is the favored shrine of Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja, known as the Lion of Kerala, the former ruler of Kottayam. Devotees of all faiths are allowed to enter the temple.

Calicut Airport and Kozhikode Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station.
