Siswan is a
taluk headquarters and prominent town in
Siwan District and lies near the district's border with
Uttar Pradesh. It lies along the eastern bank of the
Ghaghra River.
Siwan is about 34 km north-east of the town.
Patna Airport and Ekma Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station respectively.
