Sirwara




Sirwara, one of the prominent towns in Raisen District, is located about 13 km south of Umraoganj. Bhopal, the capital city of the state, is 36 km west.

The town has Bishankhera in the west, Banchhor in the north, Sultanpur in the east and Goharganj in the south. Bhimbetka Caves, Ratapani Sanctuary, Raisen Fort and Singhori Wildlife Sanctuary and Sanchi are the prime attractions in the neighborhood.

The nearest airport is Bhopal Airport. Bhopal Junction Railway Station serves the town. Sirwara lies on the state highway connecting National Highway 7 and National Highway 12.
