Sippighat Farm




Sprawling over an area of 80 acres, Sippighat Farm is around 14 km from Port Blair. This government farm is dedicated to the research on various kinds of agricultural products, especially the variety of spices. It is a flourishing ground for coconuts, cloves, cinnamon, pepper and nutmeg. Many new varieties of plants are being experimented here. The farm also has the local and wild variety of flowers. Research and Demonstration farm of the Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI) is situated nearby.
