Sinhagad



Sinhagad is a popular picnic spot located 25 km south-west of Pune, Maharashtra. The place is famous for trip-lovers as well as for trekkers - especially for Katraj to Sinhagad trek. Located 1290 m high the place can be reached by vehicle also.

Major point of attraction here is the Sinhagad Fort, Samadhi of Rajaram Maharaj and Dev Take – a famous tank with sweet and cold water. Panshet, Khadakwasla and Varasgaon dams and Torana fort can also be sighted from here.

The nearest airport is at Pune. Pune has its own railway station, Pune Junction Railway Station.
