Similikhol, surrounded by extensive green lands and hillocks, is situated in
Baragarh District of
Orissa. It is about 60 km west of Padampur and is near Jharbandh.
The major attractions are a historic cave and a temple devoted to Goddess Durga. The village with is quite and pleasant ambience attracts not only tourists, but also the historians and paleontologists to watch and study the pre-historic rock paintings on the walls of the cave.
