Silver Jubilee Clock Tower

This 7.5 ft high square tower, was built during the Silver Jubilee of the reign of Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV. It is designed in Indo-Saracenic style of architecture with a domed canopy which rests on a base just above the 5 ft diameter clock. The graduated ascent of the storeys is well-proportioned, and its double arches framing slit-windows resembles early-English church architecture.
