Located at an elevation of 11,322 ft, Silmp is a small settlement in
Kargil District.
Sarche Brok is just 3 km from here. Batalik lies to the north of Silmp and
Daskinathang is to the south. Short treks and hikes to upland villages can be undertaken from this region.
Silmp can be easily accessed as it is near to Sachik, which is on the Kargil – Leh highway.
