Shyamji Sanka Temple




Shyamji Sanka Temple is a 16th – 17th century shrine situated at Sanka, in Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh. The temple was built in memory of King Sangram Singh (Shyam Singh) who died in an encounter with a Mughal soldier of Haji Wali. The temple features exquisite paintings on the wall reflecting the Malwi and Rajashthani effects. The temple is constructed with beautiful and well carved stones and bricks. The temple is now protected by the state government.

Shyamji Sanka Temple is about 15 km from Narsinghgarh.
