Shyam Rai Temple




Built in AD 1643 by King Raghunath Singha, Shyam Rai Temple is a pancha-ratana temple with five towers in Bankura District. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is known for its terracotta walls illustrating Krishna and his gopis frolicking in the garden.

The temple is 7 km from Bishnupur city center.
