Shrine of the Holy Cross is a famous church located in a small village called
Bambolim near
Panaji. Main feature of this church is a white cross, positioned at the entrance, adorned with candles and flower garlands. It celebrates the feast of the Holy Cross on every third Sunday of May with great pomp. This architectural marvel is popularly called 'Fullancho Khuris' which literally means the 'cross of flowers.' People of all religions visit the church to offer masses and novenas.
