Shri Vijapur Teerth




Established by His Holiness Acharya Subodhsagarsurisvarji, Shri Vijapur Teerth is situated at Vijapur in the Mehsana District of Gujarat. A white-colored parikaryukt idol of Bhagvan Sfurling Parshwanath is the main deity. The idols of Bhagvan Visahar Parshwanath and Mantradhiraj Bhagvan Parshwanath are also present.

His Holiness Acharya Subodhsagarsurisvarji got the idol of Bhagvan Sfurling Parshwanath from an ancient temple in Nepal. This three-storied temple is an excellent place for sadhana. It is managed by Shri Sphulling Parshwanath Bhagvan, Shrimad Buddhisagarsuriji Jain Samadhi Mandir.

The teerth is famous for its special type of artistic carvings on wood. Prathishta (installation of the idol) of this temple took place on the third day of dark half the month of Vaisakha in 2037 of Vikram Samvat. Dharamshala and bhojanshala facilities are also available.

Shri Vijapur Teerth is located on Mehsana-Himmatnagar road. Shri Vijapur Teerth is around 50 km from Mehsana and 24 km from Himmatnagar. Vijapur Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
