Shri Ramakrishna Asharama

Shri Ramkrishna Asharama in Rajkot, Gujarat, is a branch of Belur Mutt, West Bengal. It teaches and spreads the gospel of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa through its various activities. There are regular prayers and worships and occasional special worships in the magnificent Universal Shri Ramakrishna Temple. All people, irrespective of their cast, creed and religion, can take part in the prayers, meditation, religious discourses and celebrations. Religious discourses are organized every Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday. Spiritual retreats are also conducted for students, teachers and general public every month.

The publication department has published Ramakrishna-Vivekananda literature in Gujarati language. The medical services include free outdoor homeopathic and ayurvedic dispensaries in its compound. The ashram's school follows the Gurukul system. There is a well equipped library and reading room also.
