Prahaladanpur Teerth



Shri Palanpur Teerth is situated in the Banaskantha District of Gujarat, near Palanpur Junction Railway Station. Established by king Prahaladan, the temple is dedicated to Shri Pallaviya Parshwanath Bhagvan. A white-colored idol of Shri Pallaviya Parshwanath Bhagvan in padmasan posture is present inside the temple. The idol was established by Shri Kakkasurishwarji on Falgun Shukla Panchami in 1274 of Vikram Samvat. Managed by Shri Pallaveel Parshwanath Jain Shwetambar Mandir, the teerth was known as Prahaladan Parshwanath temple in ancient period. A dharamshala is also available at Palanpur. Shri Palanpur Teerth is about 68 km from Mehsana, 146 km from Ahmedabad and 257 km from Vadodara.
