Shri Mahalasa Temple, also known as Mahalasa Narayani Temple is located at south Cherlai in
Kochi,
Ernakulam District. The temple is the fifth temple in the series of the Sri Kuladevatha temples of
Ambalamedu.
The annual celebration of the temple is Ashwin Pournami.
Ambalamedu is 15 km from Ernakulam town. Frequent bus services are available and one can reach Ambalamedu from Tripunithura town which is 5 km from here. Tripunithura railway station on the Ernakulam - Thiruvananthapuram line is the nearest railhead.
