Situated about 25 km from
Udupi, via Perdoor, Shri Mahalasa Narayani Devi Kshetra is a beautiful temple dedicated to Shri Mahalasa Narayani. Shri Mahalasa is another name for
Lord Vishnu's incarnation, Mohini.
The temple is unique in its way, offering the devotees a feeling of entering a spiritual resort. The temple was originally conceived as a community hall for devotees and later developed into the temple. There is a
Hanuman shrine situated opposite to the main temple. Though the temple appears to be on a tower, the idol is exactly on the same level as Shri Mahalasa's idol in the main temple.

Mardol, in Goa.
Mangalore Airport is about 60 km south of Udupi. Regular buses connect Udupi with Bangalore and Mysore.
