Shri Kuladevata Mandir Complex

Shri Kuladevata Mandir Complex is a highly revered shrine located at Ambalamedu, about 15 km from Ernakulam. This temple complex houses about eight Kula Devatas. There are separate shrines for Lord Ganesh, Lakshmi Narasimha, Navadurga, Ramanath Santheri Kamakshi, Mahalasa Narayani, Damodar, Devaki Krishna Ravalnath and Nagesh Baneshwar. Among these shrines, the pagoda of Devaki Krishna Temple is the tallest one, about 16 m above the ground level. Though Shri Kuladevata Mandir reflects the fusion of different schools of architecture, the blend of north Indian and south Indian is the major one. As the concept of 8 deities in one compound is a scarce thing, the complex attracts thousands not only from Kerala, but from all over India. By road, Tripunithura is about 5 km from here. Both Ernakulam Junction Railway Station and Ernakulam Town Railway Station are easily accessible. Cochin International Airport is the nearest airport.
