Shri Krishna Balaram Temple




Shri Krishna Balaram Temple is a modern temple, built and promoted by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). The main attractions of the temple are its beautifully designed and painted images of Krishna, Balram, Jagannath, Subhadra, and Gaura-Nitai. The architecture of the temple is one of its most remarkable features. The newly added Radha Krishna Temple is also worth seeing. Besides routine prayer sessions, the temple conducts daily teachings on bhaktiyoga and ancient Vedic literatures.A small guesthouse with bath-attached rooms and a vegetarian restaurant are also provided. This temple is located on National Highway 5, about 7 km from Bhubaneswar.
