Shri Jaya Veera Anjaneya Swami Temple is located at
Thanjavur. There is an ornamental mantapa in the temple where the carvings of Anjaneya Swami are found. The deity of the temple is Lord Anjaneya. The tail of the idol is raised above the head as a symbol of courage and its right hand is in a raised position giving blessings. In the left hand there is a lotus flower which is the symbol of victory.
