Shri Jagannath Temple is situated at Madathilparambu, 3 km from Thalassery

The temple complex has a
Chuttambalam (building constructed around the sanctum sanctorum), Anakottil and a Mandapam in which a statue of Shri Narayana Guru is installed. The pujas are performed by non-Brahmins.
The annual festival is an eight day event held during the Malayalam month Kumbham (February – March). The festival provides opportunities for many eminent artists and performers to exhibit their caliber. On the seventh evening, there is a procession with seven caparisoned elephants. The festival is concluded with an eye-catching display of fire works. Shivratri and Shri Narayana Guru Jayanthi are also celebrated.
