Shri Amijhara Teerth




Managed by a trust called Shri Amijhara Parshwanath Shwetambar Mandir, Shri Amijhara Teerth is situated at Amijhara in the Dhar District of Madhya Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to Amijhara Parshwanath Bhagvan. A white-colored stone idol of Shri Amijhara Parshwanath Bhagvan in the padmasana postures is present inside the temple. In its olden days, this teerth place (Amijhara) was known as Kundanpur. The main idol of the teerth was established on Margshirsh Krishna Tritiya of 1549 Vikram Samvat by Acharya Shri Vijay Som Suriji.

A well-maintained dharamshala is present near the temple. Shri Amijhara Teerth is around 35 km from Dhar and 59 km from Indore.
